got an offer for a PSE position in a little rural town. What to expect in general?

USPS doesn't do a great job realistically outlining
the responsibilities and average day-to-day duties of the job. I'm thinking of accepting the offer because the pay is good compared to other jobs in my area!
It would be for a post office location serving a town of like 400 people, it's only open to the public from 10am-2pm. there is a nearby town of a few thousand people who also probably come by sometimes, but i expect it wouldn't be very busy, as they have their own USPS location which is significantly larger than the one i applied to.

TLDR
What are some of your responsibilities as a PSE? how was the hiring process? do you work in a smaller or rural area?
