Panic

So we had unprotected sex awhile ago, after like 2 hours I did the yuzpe method. I checked my calendar and saw that I was 6 days away from my ovulation. I just wanted to ask if magiging effective parin ba ang yuzpe method or kaya ano yung percentage pa ng effectiveness niya. Kasi nabasa ko rin na sperm can live 5-7 days sa loob ng vagina and Im scared kasi di ko alam if gagana ba yung yuzpe method and also after sa first dose wala akong nararamdaman na side effects, 2nd dose is later btw. Kaya mas lalo akong natatakot if baka di umeffect yung yuzpe method saakin. Please help
