Fun vs. non-fun parent

So my coparent likes to be the fun parent…takes our son to the zoo, pool, spend time with friends and all that. Not a lot considering he’s only 13 months old. However, coparent will also go lengths without changing his diaper, won’t properly feed him, or take care of hygiene.

The rest is left to me, so I am trimming his nails, getting his hair cut, cleaning his ears, brushing his teeth, running errands, which makes me the non-fun parent.

How do you balance this between both households? Just accept one parent won’t take on the parenting duties that aren’t fun but need to be done? And how do you avoid resentment?
