I must be SERIOUSLY... I mean SERIOUSLY famous... brand-name authors emailing me left and right... well, once. Well, maybe not--Okay, it's probably just a scam! 😀
Okay, so this arrived in one of my corporate email boxes a few minutes ago (not a boast, by the way; I don't own the companies, just write for them):
A Curious Question From One Writer to Another
(return address generic g-mail)
Hi there,
I’ve been spending some time lately connecting with other writers, not so much about finished work, but about the rhythm of the writing life itself.
It’s interesting how different that experience can be for everyone. I find those in between moments, the ones no one really talks about, are often the most telling.
I was wondering, in your case, what’s been shaping your writing experience the most recently?
 Warm regards,
David Pilkey
Yep, so eat your hearts out. I'm top of the food chain now... or maybe just below whoever this shark happens to be... if I answered! 😀
(To be clear. Please don't answer this email if you get it. Fake-famous-author + generic Gmail + vague flattery + no real ask = don't reply. Someone is fishing for data or cash.)
