Which of the current flagship books do you prefer?

As the title says, I'm looking to get opinions on which is currently better out of X-Men and Uncanny X-Men. I recently had a new shop open near enough to me to get into collecting more, whereas for a long time I mostly stuck to trade paperbacks. I've started grabbing Inglorious X-force and X-Men United; as well as Moonstar and Bishop.

But at some point I wanna hop onto one of the main two books, I'm just not sure which one. And as a follow-up, how do I know when an issue is a good one to jump on with?
