New player, what do I spend diamonds on?

So I know you can buy artifact chests and random items and such but since update it seems red chests can't be purchased with them now

Sitting right around 7k in gems/diamonds and unsure what to spend on.

I thought there was a conversion for one of the new events but I can't seem to find it anymore.

Thanks for any advice.
