Probate delay further up the chain - how long could this realistically take?

We’re in a property chain and were originally working toward a 19th June completion date. This morning we were told that someone further up the chain has the middle name wrong in the probate paperwork. They now have to reapply and get it re‑signed.

Our solicitor has confirmed there’s no way we can complete on the 19th anymore. Another party in the chain mentioned that 3rd July has been floated, but nothing is confirmed because the corrected probate hasn’t been issued yet.

Has anyone dealt with this specific situation — a probate delay caused by an incorrect name?
How long did the re‑issue take?
Is early July even remotely realistic, or should we expect this to drag on?

Any insight from people who’ve been through this would be massively appreciated.
