GODOT DOC TXT

free plugin/tool

Hey everyone,

I’ve noticed a lot of requests over the past couple of years for a unified, plain-text version of the official documentation. To give back to this amazing community, I went ahead and parsed the entirety of the Godot HTML documentation into a single, clean without --css -js raw `.txt` file.

You can open this file in Notepad++, VS Code, or any text editor to instantly `Ctrl+F` through the entire engine documentation offline. It makes troubleshooting your node setups and code much faster!

* **LLM & RAG Pipelines:** If you are building local tools to assist your workflow, this is the perfect raw dataset format for RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines, vector databases, or feeding into large context-window models (like Claude 3 or Gemini) for accurate, Godot-specific context.

* **Fine-tuning:** A clean dataset for those experimenting with fine-tuning local open-source models for GDScript.

I hope this helps you find answers quicker and speeds up your game dev workflows! Let me know if you build any cool local tools with it.
