Middle and High School Librarians

Just wondering if there are any middle and high school librarians on here who'd like to share what their work experiences are like? Currently a 5th grade classroom teacher who's thinking about getting my MLIS. I don't think I'd want to be a k-5 media specialist, as I'm not very good kids under grade 3 lol. How does teaching classes work in upper education? What is your normal day like? For those of you who were may classroom teachers before, how does the work compare? What are your student interactions like? And anything else you'd be willing to share. Thanks!
