Lowes inside lawn and garden is terrible

I’ve been here for about 4 months in inside lawn and garden as a seasonal employee and it’s been terrible at first they really just walked around pointed at things by the 3rd day the head store manager is upset that I’m not understanding the job when they never even really explained anything every asm seems to love just walking around and avoiding doing anything actually difficult or helpful and seem to be irritated at questions or having to help new hires on top of that it’s been 9 or 8 hour shifts for 8 days straight then a day off random long hours one day 2pm to 11 then next 5am to 2pm or longer since no one is there to cover the department except for outside it’s constant being pulled to every part of the store to solve everyone’s problems and most the store seems to just send people to the department to get them away from theirs and the customers are terrible it’s constant old people coming in not knowing anything about their prodcuts wanting to be babied and have you do everything and get upset and extremely disrespectful the whole day is constant having everyone upset while you’re running around with no breaks except for the non paid lunch just really tiring and insane expectations for a seasonal hire
