Should I accept the fact that I’ll probably never find someone I can truly connect with
For context in a few days I'm turning 17, and with that the most romantic thing with a girl that's ever happened to me was a pretty vanilla and mediocre talking stage that lasted 2 weeks. After a lot of thought, I've realized I don't know if I'll ever be able to truly connect with someone on a deep and intimate level fully because of how much I value someone going through the same experiences as me. For context I'm half black half Persian and grew up as a single child with divorced parents in an extremely white neighborhood and school. I was quiet, and nobody really accepted me, the black nor the white kids, and I was pretty much always rejected socially and romantically. It only stopped being socially once I hit highschool really, which had been nice but still, and those formative years of basically isolation besides the few best friends I had which all moved away at some point (no joke), I feel like it's left a big impact on me. The truth is like I already feel like I missed out on teenage love, at the very least I would want my girlfriend to have no sexual experience, but I don't think that's happening until college, and trying to find a girl in college that’s never slept with anyone is already challenging plus the fact im not that socially outgoing although i can keep a conversation going. If she already has experience, no mater how much she could love me or we could fit together like a puzzle, i wouldn't be fully emotionally attached and honestly maybe even detatched just because it's like, you got an experience i never got to have. And even then, even if they have no experience would be nice, there would still be some (not as big as if they did) disconnect because there would still be some level of disconnect, especially if she’s never had any problems romantically as in problems trying to get a partner. I know my standards are unrealistic, but they feel kind of tied to me. Idk maybe in the future they’ll change but I’m still unsure, and I’m still young
