Questions about Shimano Anti-Twist Fin
I have always used mostly Daiwa's spinning reels, but I wanted to try out a Shimano spinning reel so I ordered one. It has has the anti-twist fin mechanism, but I am unsure of how useful it really is I suppose. I have never had a problem using reels without this feature, no line twist or wind knots or line slipping off the line roller. So I am wondering if people have experienced this being a useful or not very useful feature. Is it something that is going to be in the way if I'm accustomed to using reels without it? Has anyone had any problems with it breaking or anything? Is it easy to remove if I don't like it, and would that cause any issues to do so?
Thank you for your insight
