A 12 year old girl presents with her mother complaining of episodes where she stares off into space. When this happens, her daughter smacks her lips fidgets with her clothes. The daughter reports that she sees flashing lights before this happens, but never remembers the episodes and seems to be in a daze for a few minutes afterwards each time.
