2000s mysterious vintage horror book

Hello friends, I read this horror book in 2009 at my school library that had no cover, but the entire book was wrapped in red cloth. When I moved, I forgot the book's title, but I remember it was a vintage horror book. It talked about ghost ships, Hitler's best friend, and other horror stories. What was strange about it was that it was made for kids, so it had these creepy vintage drawings, and the stories were very scary and odd. I tried looking it up online and had no luck. I would appreciate the help finding it.
