Is the game worth it at this point?

I’ve recently seen Lemons video about beating the game with the Pickaxe and honestly it made me on the fence about buying the game. I played the OG back in the day so the remake has been on my radar. The performance at launch on PS5 really put me off though. That and since the game is usually pretty short I’m not sure if it’s worth it to jump in now.

I see NG+ was added, how is it? Is it worth doing another run with the same character or is the scaling not up the difficulty enough? Have the patches that come out fix the crashes and bugs? Is performance on PS5 Pro up to par with what people in this sub want?

Looking forward to some honest thoughts from people who have played the game! Cheers!
