Seller removed listing after making me drive 2 hours

Had a seller completely waste my afternoon. Asked them if the item was available, and if they would knock $100 off the price, since it looked well used and brand new was only $150 more. He only asked when I would want to come pick up. Short responses, but had 30 positive reviews so whatever. Ask him for a meet up spot, how he prefers payment, and let him know I live over an hour away so may take a bit. He agrees.

7 minutes from the meetup, suddenly "sees" my FIRST message and says he cant go under asking price, best he can do is $10 off a $600 ask. Then says his Zelle is deactivated (which was what we agreed on) and doesnt have Venmo. Around this time I notice he removed the listing completely.

I dont have $600 cash, he apologizes, says he "bears me no ill will", and blocks me. I drive over an hour back home, baffled.

Guy clearly saw he made a mistake and wasted my time, but instead of taking the review he deserves, just ends the listing and blocks. I wasted over 2 hours and paid bridge tolls to get to him. And he bears ME no ill will? Dont think I can do anything aside from reporting him, but feels like a slap in the face that I cant at least let others know this guy's a buffoon.
