Looking for genuine friendship

I'm a Haitian man age 25 living in Toronto and as the title says, I'm looking to make real friendships this summer.

​

I go to the gym regularly, attend conventions, festivals, skating, and exploring the city. Currently training myself to become a firefighter.

I enjoy conversations about life, faith, personal growth, and culture

This summer. I am hoping to check out major events like possibly playing Mas in Caribana, Fan Expo, the CNE, and a whole bunch of street festivals this summer.

Ever since I moved here back in January, making friends as an adult is real challenging. Most people seem to be busy with their existing friend group, work, or relationships. So I want to try and put myself out there furthermore now that my work will slow down this summer.

I'm looking for people who are interested in building actual friendships, not just texting for a day and then ghosts. Whether that's going for a walk, checking out events, hitting the gym, exploring Toronto hidden gem, or just having good conversations.
