Can’t get an intake manifold for three months

I have a special edition 2021 ecodiesel with 110k miles. it has been the perfect truck for me. check engine light came in, i took it in and ive been told its the intake manifold and it can’t safely be driven or the engine might catch on fire. $2k to repair but was told the part won’t be avail until July. got a call and now im being told it will be August with no guarante. my service rep says the order number has a weird configutation that he has never seen and he thinks it might be a placeholder and that Chrysler doesn’t really know when they will have it. I asked about an after market intake manifold and he told me he can’t find anything available. so I’m left to either wait and hope it works out, trade in for a new truck. but Ram doesn’t make another 3 liter dieasel and I don’t want a gasser so I would probably be looking at a GMC. I’m voicing frustration but also wondering what you folks think. with the ecodiesel being discontinued is sourcing parts going to be like this going forward? It my daily driver so I don’t really want a 3/4 ton.
