Shelly and Finn's "entertainment value"

After this new update, in the new lore video, we've seen that Finn makes a lot of fish puns (with the help of Razzle) because the customers like them over his fish facts. This makes me think that Finn would've ended up being forgotten like Shelly if he didn't make them, since Shelly's main thing is dinosaur facts. The kids found her facts boring and since that's all she has going for herself, she fell into the background. Finn on the other hand educates AND entertains, and it feels like all the jokes he makes is him evolving to not become obsolete, as well as keep the kids happy.
