Chopped business chud tryna get into consulting workshop
Sophomore at Kelley here looking to apply for the Consulting Workshop this December. I've read through the official website and know the basics (application due end of December, decisions by April, info sessions in early December, etc.), but I'd love to hear from people who've actually gone through it.
A few things I'm curious about:
- Application itself — How did you approach the written portion? Were there essays, short answers, or something else? How much weight do you think GPA carried vs. your extracurriculars and leadership experience?
- Interview round — What was the format like? Was it behavioral, case-based, or a mix? How long did it last and how many rounds were there?
- Info/networking sessions — How important was it to attend the discussion sessions with current members? Did showing up (or not showing up) make a noticeable difference?
- Profile — For those who got in, what did your resume generally look like? Business frat, competitive clubs, prior consulting exposure, or something totally different? I've seen people say most admits are 3.8+ GPA with strong involvements, but wondering how true that really is.
- General advice — Anything you wish you'd known before applying, or anything you'd do differently?
Appreciate any insight. Thanks in advance.
