Experiences with migrating from 2.8.4 to 2.9 beta?

Anyone mind sharing their experience with migrating their world from 2.8 to 2.9 beta? I want to update but uncertain on the stability or if it's worth it or not as of yet. Will I have to fix a bunch of stuff in my base after updating? I'm early EV for context. Thanks
