Apparently Declan Rice has become part of a Xiaomi campaign in China
This is such a random crossover.
Chinese media are saying Declan Rice has appeared in a Xiaomi YU7 campaign, and the whole thing seems to be built around the fact that Chinese fans call him “Da Mi”, which literally means “big rice”.
Xiaomi means “small rice”, so the slogan is basically “Big Rice loves Small Rice”.
I do not think I have seen him push this much on his English socials, which makes it even funnier. There is a whole Rice marketing universe happening in China and most Arsenal fans probably have no idea.
Honestly, as footballer brand deals go, this one at least has a proper pun behind it.
