Nullscape HAS to be the most torturous game in the face of the universe, and I fucking hate it.

Sure, the game is already difficult, and by the looks of it, that's not going to change, ever, but I find this game's difficulty scaling quite ridiculous. I have done many solo runs and I have lost them on Level 4 a lot of times due to how bad I am. And plus, I don't feel like I can play good at the moment, so am I just... forced by the game to drop it and move on?? Is that it?? Do I just quit playing Nullscape???? Huh?????? Because I literally don't get why this game has to be so punishing. I like having fun. I like being rewarded for having fun. This shouldn't be so hard. It really shouldn't.
