freddy alarm clocks not working

just played a game against freddy and I could not use a single alarm clock across the whole map? I had to either blow up my gen or get a teammate to wake me up.

i thought maybe it was because he was using some sort of addon or something but then i was seeing all my teammates use them but I literally could not use a single one! idk if this is a known bug or maybe im stupid and there is some sort or precursor to be able to use the alarm clocks?

but literally the whole game i couldnt use them, not in EGC, not through the whole match, luckily i wasnt chased the whole game so it didnt really matter but if i was getting tunnelled or whatever the game wouldve been lowkey unplayable
