Is a passport necessary for fan calls?

So, I really want to take a shot at trying to win a fan call event. But, I saw that these sites seem to ask for passports if you’re a foreigner. Does anyone know if this is true for starlike music? Also, are there any of the sites that *don’t* require it to be a passport? If those exist, I would love to know who.

My passport has my maiden name on it and I honestly don’t even know where it is because of the fact that it’s not valid for me to use when I travel. Otherwise I’d probably just use that, I assume it would be fine as long as I wrote my name as my maiden name. But I def can’t just get a new passport in enough time before the event submission ends. 😔
