Temperature Regulation

21 5’8 160 pounds F

I have trouble regulating my body temperature. I’ve never thought anything of it as I’ve always been this way, but I sweat excessively when I get hot, get hot quickly, and have trouble cooling down. Same thing occurs when I’m cold, where I feel freezing- almost like my core temperature is easily changed. My temperature is relatively normal. I often seek extreme temperatures like a hot hot shower (that I didn’t realize was hot but just warm until my partner pointed it out) and walk around with blankets when I feel cold.

My hands used to tingle when I felt anxious or excited, and still do at times but I’ve worked on my anxiety so maybe that’s why it’s less infrequent.

I am not a picky eater, and while I may put off eating while I’m busy I get my fill when I have my big meal of the day.

More times than not I stand up and get light headed, woozy, and can’t see straight- but I’ve never passed out and not sure if my body will let itself haha.

For some medical context, I am of average if not good health- aside from being born with holes in my heart, but they closed fairly quickly (I say this because they were large enough to warrant surgery, but when I was supposed to be taken in the doctors checked and I no longer required it as they had closed up)

I’m not really sure if this is normal and just something I adapt to like I always have?

I don’t have any signs of iron deficiency but I do get hit with waves of fatigue at times. My menstrual cycle is very normal and I’m not on any birth control.

Just curious what this could mean?
