IS THE COMEBACK ON?

The Spurs are staring down a 3-1 deficit, a hole that almost no team has ever escaped in the NBA Finals. Teams leading 3-1 are 37-1 all time, with only LeBron and the 2016 Cavaliers completing the comeback. The good news for San Antonio is they have Victor Wembanyama. And they’ve already shown they can beat the Knicks, taking Game 3 in New York and nearly stealing Game 4 before falling 107-106.

The challenge is that New York has been the better team for most of the series. The Knicks won the first 2 games in San Antonio and have consistently made the big plays late. If the Spurs want any chance at history, it starts tonight. Win Game 5 and the pressure suddenly shifts back to New York.
