Reconsideration Step 4

I’m just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. My husband’s initial claim was denied and during that process, it went from step 4 to step 5 within hours-denied. This is the reconsideration and it went to step 4 Thursday, within hours I got an email saying they received his claim? The same email I got when I originally submitted the appeal. Nothing Friday and obviously nothing today. I didn’t think anything of it at first but now I’m wondering if the process is different because the outcome is different??? I’m probably reading wayyyyyy too much into it but I thought I’d ask if anyone else has experienced this.
