Hi all! New to baking and have been loving it, I have this recipe I’ve been using but I feel like the shape of my cookies has changed. It’s the same recipe, I’m thinking it’s the temperature of the butter? I melt it and let it come to about room temp first, then add. I love soft and chewy cookies and was getting that 10/10 times but recently they have been rounder & smaller. Same recipe! I attached pictures, taste is good but I do prefer the other shape. 

Here is recipe & i prefer chewy/soft so bake for 11 minutes. 

1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted and cooled

1/2 cup (100g) light brown sugar

1/3 cup (67g) granulated sugar

1 large egg, room temperature

1 tbsp vanilla extract

11/4 cups (185g) all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled

1/2 tsp baking soda

Pinch of flaky sea salt

11/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

For Garnish:  
Flaky sea salt

Instructions:  
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.  
Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.  
In a separate bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Whisk (1-2 min) until smooth.  
Crack in egg and add vanilla extract. Mix until combined.  
Fold dry ingredients into wet batter until just combined.  
Stir in chocolate chips.  
Scoop 9 cookies onto parchment paper, leaving space (max 4 cookies per 15x10 baking tray).  
Bake for 11 minutes for chewy/soft cookies or 13 minutes for crunchier texture
