Full disclosure: I built a complete numerical methods calculator entirely with AI. I think it turned out awesome, but I need your honest feedback
As i mentioned in the title, this is 100% made by ai, only the idea was original. i've made a few projects over the past year with ai, but i m really proud of this one since i actually wanted to make one since my college days. for anybody who has studied engineering in college or maybe CS thee is a course called numerical methods where u use iterative methods to approximate analytical answers to problems. this can range from root finding for polynomials to interpolation, integrations and differential equations. i remember really being fascinated with them and thinking i would make an app for this (i was learning to code at the time) in the future. the fact that u can solve problems that would span a page or two with 4 or 5 iterations was mind blowing. any ways i didn't follow through with the coding and it only occurred to me recently , about a month ago that, with ai getting really good, i could build both the logic and the ui for the site using ai.
So the site has calculations for ur basic calculators for root finding(bisection, false position, newton raphson,...) also has a bunch of methods for interpolation, system of linear equations, differentiation, integration and ODEs. it has step by step for each method and also table log showing convergence. and if methods dont converge it shows reason why and what to fix in the input. it has a graph which u can pin different methods on and see how their convergence compares. u can then export your graphs and tables and step by steps in different outputs (png, webp, pdf report, svg). if u sign in u can save your history and access anytime. And its also, might i add, completely free
you can check it out at https://www.iterativesolver.com
I look forward to your honest opinions.
