Thinkware U3000 + Samsung One UI 9 Beta = Live View / Playback Failure?

Just wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone else.

I recently installed a brand-new Thinkware U3000 front/rear bundle in my 2025 RAV4 Prime. The camera was recording normally, entering parking mode correctly, and the Dash Cam Link app would connect and display the list of recordings.

However, every time I tried to use Live View or play a recording, the app would spin for several seconds and then throw a generic Wi-Fi error.

Here's what I tried:

- Switched from 5 GHz to 2.4 GHz

- Formatted the SD card in-camera

- Full SD card format on PC

- Updated firmware from 1.02.00 to 1.02.04

- Reinstalled Dash Cam Link

- Verified app permissions

- Rebooted camera and phone

Nothing fixed it.

The breakthrough came when I connected using an older Android phone. Live View and playback worked immediately.

Same camera.

Same firmware.

Same SD card.

Same Wi-Fi connection.

The only difference was the phone.

I'm running a Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra on the One UI 9 Beta program, so at this point I'm convinced it's a compatibility issue between Dash Cam Link and the current Samsung beta software.

Has anyone else on One UI 9 Beta or Android beta builds experienced this with Thinkware cameras? Curious if there's a workaround or if we're waiting on Samsung/Thinkware updates.

Hopefully this saves someone from unnecessarily exchanging a perfectly good camera like I almost did.
