Alright, so my wife \*has\* played Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, so she knows what Zelda is like.

However, in a spur of the moment, I recommended TP instead of WW. Once she starts a game, she needs to complete it.

So all is well and good, but I realize this presents me with an interesting situation: Ganondorf kinda comes out of nowhere in TP, and I kinda wanna see her reaction since she doesn't know him.

I know the PH prologue kinda mentions him, but I doubt she remembers the "evil king" from those still images.

Anyway, how would you do this? I kinda plan on letting her reach her own conclusions, but maybe make a few comments here and there to bring more importance to those points. Considering:

\- TP never explains what the triforce is. Lanayru simply mentions Hyrule was at war over "dominion over the sacred realm"

\- Ganondorf is mentioned as a bandit king who fought during that war, or at least sought the same goal as the dark interoperability

\- The triforce simply implies that those with that crest were "chosen by the gods".

... I kinda plan on simply clarifying those points, without mentioning the triforce or that Ganon is the main villain of the franchise. Just comment to see if she "gets" that Ganondorf was likely a huge deal according to the sages and see where we go from there.

What do ya think?

[TP] So my Wife's first Zelda* is going to be Twilight Princess. How would you explain the Ganon situation if you were me?
