2016 Audi Q5 2.0 Ball Dropping Sound when turning

I took my 2016 Audi Q5, which has around 55,000 miles, to an auto shop because I occasionally heard a sound like a ball dropping during a sharp turn. It happened mainly when turning the wheel fully to the right, and when the steering wheel returned to center is when I heard the sound.

The mechanic did some diagnostics and recommended several repairs. I wanted to get an estimate of whether these services are actually necessary and whether the pricing seems reasonable.

Recommended repairs (in the order the shop said they should be addressed)

  1. Control arm bushing replacement (left and right)

$1,500 total

  1. Strut mounts

$2,300

  1. Torn axle boots (left and right), but grease is still present

$1,650 per side

The car feels drivable to me, and aside from that occasional noise, I haven't noticed any major issues. My main concern is just the safety. I don't really care for the comfort or noise

For context, I'm located in the Bay Area.

Do these repairs sound necessary, and do the prices seem reasonable?
