In search of FMC aged 35+

Apologies as I assume there are similar posts with plenty of recommendations in the comments but I’m starting fresh here if that’s cool!

Would love to read a book or series where the FMC is mid thirties or older.

My favourites thus far have been the big hits: ACOTAR, Empyrean (my fave), Blood & Ash/Flesh & Fire, Quicksilver&Brimstone, Hades x Persephone series (from Scarlett St. Clair)

But yeah as I’m personally struggling with getting older and being 35 (and a half) and still being single, I think it would be helpful to read some fantasy that doesn’t make me feel like all the great romances and spicy sex are reserved for your late teens and early 20s.

I’m also open to sapphic romance/spice!

Give this millennial some hope there’s some spice and romance to look forward to in this life!
