Epilepsy and public transport.

Support

Diagnosed with Frontal Lobe epilepsy. Started about 1 year ago completely out of the blue. No history. No warning. Been on short term leave. going to long term now. A week ago a tonic clonic seizure was so bad it caused a heart attack. On the bus now. No longer able to drive. Someone suggested I inform my bus driver as I get on the bus that I am an epileptic. In case a seizure occurs while I'm on the bus. I have a warning bracelet. But I'm so scared of being completely helpless in public. Does anyone do this? Inform bus drivers and such, just in case? Any thoughts on this? I'm on Keppra. I'm almost 57. I get a major seizure about once a month. Last big one caused a car crash and I woke up fighting ER staff. I intend to get a small tattoo for awareness. I'm just curious what others do .
Thanks I'm Kevin
