Can I get an infection from this

I have been getting my friend to do my testosterone shot because I struggle with it. The last time they did it they hesitated, poked me and drew a little blood then immediately put it back in and did the shot. I cleaned the area really well before hand but I'm still sort of concerned I could get an infection from the first poke.
