Is the fruit sand from the new blast farmable?

Doesn't seem like a Wiki page has been made yet, hoping someone here has tested it. I'm too broke to get the fruit kingdom blast I mostly just want the new sand though. In blocks it's kinda cheap but the sellers I find are in low supply. Wondering if it's farmable and how much you'd need to start with to circumvent yield rng
