Can someone explain to me the process of or has anyone got in the traffic signal program ? Is it competitive ? I currently do tree trimming for a utility but im not an amazing or fast climber by any means, should I make sure im really good at that even though I don’t want to go to be a lineman? And also what is the timeframe between putting in the application and completing the program? Do you have a job when you complete the training ? And for lineman/traffic signal/substation technician, are you getting paid while you’re in training ?
