Problem with having ç on my user file. Can i change it?

So for longest time i never had any trouble with this, or at least that i noticed, but recently two things happened. Its not anything serious but its annoying. One is that a game mod i had couldnt access its saved data because of it, which i fixed by changing the folder location. The other and more annoying is many times when i try do open Rainbow6, it doenst open and i get this message saying it couldnt reach it and shows the path which is something like (C:\Users\Louren) and my users folder name is Lourenço so i figured the ç jammed it, then if i insist and try to open the game a few more times it works, which is weird. I changed the game from the windows drive to another but it didnt fix it. What i am wondering is if its possible to change the User name, or if that messes up the PC
