Hi everyone. I bought a brand new 9070 XT Aorus Elite, coming from a 3080 Ti from ROG.

I’ve tested multiple games like Black Myth Wukong, Arc raiders and resident evil 2 I think, the remake, and it’s been working wonders, I’m happy with the card, there is no lag whatsoever.

But I also play Chivalry 2. The 3080 Ti ran the game without a problem, and if I had lag, it was on a few maps only, but it was an understandable kind of lag (I’m sorry idk how to explain it), on heavy maps with full lobbies of 64 players.

The 9070 XT is stuttering really bad, I’ll attach a video.

Thing I’ve done trying to fix it:

\-DDU old drivers
\-Reinstall windows
\-Use default BIOS settings
\-Update BIOS
\-Tried a few settings on AMD software, like enhanced sync, amd chill, Freesync on and off, AMD optimized.

\-I have a 180hz freesync monitor.

\-Ingame I’ve tried Dx11 and 12, 11 seemed to work better for a while.
\-I play with a Gamesir g7 Pro, I’ve dropped the polling rate to 250 from 500. And for like 6 games, i thought it got fixed, but started stuttering again after, with no change on the polling rate.

\-System:

5700X3D
32Gb 3200mhz
1TB Gen 4 SSD
850w XPG Core reactor
B550M pro vdh
9070XT Aorus Elite

Temps are more than okay, airflow is good inside the case.

I’m playing on the Microsoft store version of the game.

I’m asking here because this literally happened the moment I installed the new gpu which I’m HAPPY with, so I’m sure it has to be a software kind of problem but I’m lost.

Bad stuttering on new 9070Xt, on Chivalry 2
