Reaction to uv lashes?

I haven’t gotten lash extensions done before but I’m wanting to try it out. Someone I know recommended UV lashes because it’s less upkeep, but I’m worried I might have a reaction to them. I developed an allergy to gel nail polish a few years ago, and I’m worried I might be allergic to the UV glue used for the lashes. I’m not sure what specific chemical the allergy is to, but I’m able to use nail glue without issues so it’s not an allergy to all adhesives. Apparently the lash tech has some kind of allergy primer or something that she uses and she hasn’t had any clients have a reaction, but I’m still a bit worried. Has anyone had experience with this?
