I launched on Product Hunt today and I made it into top 10.

I launched my app ScrollJail today in Product Hunt. As of posting this there are still about 6h left of voting (since they use pacific time).

I frankly have to say: I thought successfully launching on PH would be harder. Obviously it depends on how you define success, but in my case I am currently on the 8th place today - that's TOP 10! I am proud of that.

I think todays launch was also not an easy one, due to Vercel, Kimi and Firecrawl launching today as well.

Being honest:
I got some traffic and some new users, which is cool.

Since I launched a freaking iOS shortcut as my product (its really cool and deserves to be launched as a product, trust me - check it out) I'll defiantly launch again as soon as its a native iOS app.

What I did to reach top 10:
Not too much tbh:
- I engaged all my daily active users to vote - I'd say about 50% of them voted (didn't setup tracking)
- I wrote many of my friends on WhatsApp asking for an upvote (is that cheating?)
- I tweeted a lot today, also some posts about the PH launch. I even boosted one post about the PH launch for $10 - honestly it got pretty good impressions, but only 3 people from Twitter actually voted
- Posted on LinkedIn
- Posted a Insta story on my personal account
- Asked some family members to vote.
