Gun optics blocking too much peripheral vision

Anyone else here reluctant to use bigger optics simply because such a large amount of the screen when not ADS is blocked by the optics of the gun?

I've been using iron sights since day one simply so I can see around me without having to run to get the gun down.

DICE needs to give an option to adjust the height of the gun vertically, or at least allow you to point the gun down at the cost of aim recovery, like when coming out of a sprint.

I know there's the gun size setting for wide or narrow, but that's primarily a horiztonal change, is isn't even that significant.
