Lpn classes

I’m looking to becoming a Lpn. I already talked to my advisor and was told I would need to do two assessments for English 111 and math 123. My question is what’s the difference between me doing these assessments and my teas? I believe I heard you need to do the teas to even get in the program but then what’s my assessments for? I seen I had to pass the English with 70 or higher and math 55 or higher. I believe from what the financial person said I can start classes in August but I’ve also been hearing from other post that some dead line is closed and I wouldn’t start till spring… if I started August or spring when would I graduate If everything went successful?
