Just want to share this gem. My sibling and I both buy and sell on Depop. Our Disney obsession is out of control. Anyway… she sent me this. She received a damaged crossbody bag. It had these cute rabbit ears on top of the bag (Alice In Wonderland) and for whatever reason, the seller had folded the ears over and wrapped it like that. Welp, they arrived cracked to shit because of that and there’s no salvaging it. We both have a habit of blocking buyers that package things poorly because as collectors, we want our stuff to be displayable obviously. Don’t want to accidentally purchase something else from someone sending broken stuff. She never messaged the seller or left a review, just contacted Depop to request a return.

Now she shows me this. We laughed about it but then I was like ”did she just call you broke for trying to return something she broke?” She put in a return request that she likely will have to pay out of pocket to return and this chick is acting like she stole her $15 bag and plans to sell it on the black market to fund a kidney transplant or something.

Sister has a 5 star shop, and I’m sure Depop will take the review down for her, but still had to share this overly dramatic reaction to someone requesting to send the bag back.

Seller Mad About Return Request
