Part 2? Of me asking christians on the doom Reddit

I know i posted a question as a christian and asking christians that play doom about it not too long ago, but i feel like this question deserves its own post. Thanks to everyone for the feedback on my previous post it really helped a lot. And thinking of trying it but theirs just one last "hurdle" question I have. Its about the mark of the Slayer, what does it mean?. Ive kinda looked into it and supposedly one of the creators/directors says that it represents a sword purging hell or something like that(which tbh thats cool of like in a way good purging evil), but I hear other things like it actually being like the mark of the beast which idk if its true or just like a speculation or fan theory or headcanon Because if its true than im not so sure about trying it if true. Plus it wouldn't make sense with the the whole thing with it in the bible being like worshipping and following evil whoever has that mark and just feel it wouldn't make sense for the doomslayer to have something like that you know?​. But again any help would be appreciated on this matter as this is the only thing holding me back from trying doom. But take care everyone!
