I think that even if the song it's not entierly bad or terrible, the mixing and some sound selection is really bad and simply not that great of a song, never truly liked it and i skip it all the time

It's a great concept, it has great samples, the intro is really good (until the bass comes on) and the lyrics are somewhat catchy and decent but with all the problems it has it doesn't end up shining like it could. Fuck, even Gemini Season ended up being in my day to day playlist and i think is more catchy than Father even if i think Father is a far reeeally far better song tecnically speaking

ye's vocals seem like they were recorded in the back of his car and that sound following the bass sounds like (and maybe is) a metal pipe being dropped/thrown to the ground

It sounds like a generic song made just for commercials, i imagine it in a world cup commercial and i think it is like the God Level's little neurodivergent cousin that plays phonk 24/7 on his iPad

i hope they change it in someway for the deluxe, it just needs some mixing or a new vocal take from ye and thats it, i could even bear that metal pipe sound if its mixed properly

And before yall say ANYTHING, there a songs in this album like BULLY, MAMA'S FAVORITE, WHITE LINES, ALL THE LOVE that i think are faaaar better and most listenable than Father, even THIS ONE HERE being entirely ai and with that corny Imagine Dragons type finale is more listenable than Father.

FATHER IS TOP 3 WORST SONG ON BULLY (cold take tbh)
