Mock responses in chrome DevTools

I built Mock API — a Chrome DevTools extension that intercepts fetch/XHR requests and substitutes the response.

How it works:
Real request appears in the DevTools panel → clone it with one click → edit the response → toggle on.

Next request to that URL returns your version instead of hitting the server. Filter by URL and request body with several matching modes — target exactly the request you need, leave everything else untouched.

Built-in JSON editor. Mocks can be toggled on/off individually — handy when switching between real and mocked state during debugging.

When it helps:

- Frontend is ready, backend isn't — don't wait, mock it
- Bug that only reproduces with a specific server response — set it up once, show anyone
- Edge cases: empty arrays, 500 errors, missing fields
- States that are painful to trigger in a real environment
