Initial piercing jewellery types?

So, I originally wanted to get a daith piercing but I really really don’t like the horseshoe piercings (already stuck with that for my septum and don’t want another) so are there any piercings I can get that they allow the initial piece to be a ring or something?

I do understand why it’s usually a horseshoe but I was hoping there might be some exception? I really don’t want 2 of the same body jewellery and my only other option right now is to get it in another colour maybe?
