I have been looking, on and off, for over 2 years. Life changes caused the wedding plans to change, my style has evolved, and my body has changed, so I’ve had a VERY hard time. Dress shopping wasn’t fun anymore, if I didn’t find one today, I’d probably end up just picking something, because I’ve found several that were pretty, but I felt nothing special, and sometimes decided against them for specific (albeit nitpicky reasons, I’m very detail-oriented when it comes to style), and I’m not a super emotional person, I didn’t think I’d feel anything. 

But it finally happened. The first time I put it on, I felt a rush of excitement, I’d had this vision, but hadn’t found anywhere to try it on in a size that would help me see if I could pull off what I wanted to see. The one constant was the veil, I had a very particular thought, and I was looking for something that felt cohesive with what I actually knew I wanted, so at the end, I put it back on with the veil, they had me do a reveal of all of it together, like close my eyes til she’d styled me, and I would have cried, had I not held back, I hate tears, lol, but I still feel emotional, hours later, nothing has ever hit me that way. 

The top is a little big, kept slipping down, so the bra won’t show, haha, but she’s perfect, finally one I can’t think of anything to change. Classic, with a little edgy twist, Vivienne Westwood-inspired, a little vintage (there’s buttons down the side, cute little touch), with a romantic vibe.
